TF Expo in Wichita was nice. 
It was odd being at a one day convention, I've only ever been to 3-4 day conventions, so it suddenly being over as soon as it began kind of messed with my head. It was a great convention though, little, but that was actually kind of nice after the insanity of Botcon. I brought my roommate, Marina, with me and it was entertaining since she's not really a big 'geek'. She knows a few of the Transformer characters, but she isn't a fan of it really and she went mainly because I asked. I appreciated her being there, I would've hated being by myself.

I appreciated her being there, I would've hated being by myself.I dressed as Wheeljack for the convention, got a few pictures taken and I went to...4 of the panels? A gaming panel, a writer's panel from Flint Dille, a voice actor panel by Gregg Berger, and a comics panel by Matt Frank. I didn't get to really talk much with Flint Dille, but I did get plenty of time with Gregg Berger and Matt Frank - both of whom were fantastic and really easy to talk to. Gregg was super sweet and signed a FoC Grimlock I bought at the 'con, as well as took pictures with me and Marina after I gave him the Grimlock picture I drew for him. Matt Frank I commissioned and when I checked an hour before the 'con ended, he hadn't even started. I kind of panicked a little, but he scrambled and finished an adorable and amazing picture of Chromedome and Rewind for me before I had to leave. It's on my tumblr and I will eventually take pictures of all of the commissions I've received (from Botcon as well). Matt Frank was really sweet and I really appreciated him finishing my picture in time. I love his work, his style with Transformers is really unique.
So yeah, I didn't buy much at all at TF Expo, which is fine since I'm really low on money atm. Classes are starting on the 19th and payments needed in by the 7th, plus rent and bills and LIFE, so yeah. I'll be busy startng my 3rd year and I'm taking 6 classes (two labs), so my activity may drop even lower if that's possible.
I'm saving up now for NDK, which is September 13-15th. I'll most likely be bringing Tailgate and Wheeljack cosplays to the convention, not sure what order I'll wear them in though. I'll figure it out later than sooner. I really want to do a humanized Chespin (Pokemon) cosplay, but I really have no idea how to go about that...
I hope everyone is having a good week. It's crazy that July is already over! WHERE IS THE YEAR GOING?!
