1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
I have been on DeviantArt for 7+ years now, since my highschool days.
2. What does your username mean?
My username is the 'name' of an old Digimon character of mine. She was Becka Minato, a chosen child who was claimed by darkness before meeting the other children and therefor became the 'Tainted Tamer' and the main villain for the other characters to fight against.
3. Describe yourself in three words.
Energetic, intense, caring.
4. Are you left or right handed?
Right handed.
5. What was your first deviation?
Pastel Donald Duck, September 14th, 2007.
6. What is your favorite type of art to create?
Any art, who cares about the type. I enjoy pastels and I enjoy charcoal - I used to do tons of digital when I had the tools and now I'm mostly pencil+pen with markers. Even doing little craft projects is enjoyable and relaxing for me.
7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Cosplay - and don't tell me that's not an art style. Some of the crazy stuff people do with foam, fabric, and hot glue is insane. Creating full mecha suits is just out of this world and people go above and beyond with those things.
8. What was your first favorite?
Autobots are FABULOUS
9. What type of art do you tend to favorite the most?
Digital, just because there is SUCH an overwhelming demand for it now that most artists only do digital stuff.
10. Who is your all-time favorite deviant artist?
I really can't narrow it down to just ONE artist - there are hundreds upon thousands of amazing, talented artists out there that make my life more enjoyable with their hard work. Some of the deviations I enjoy are silly, others are beautiful, deep stories and colors. It's stupid to pick 'just one'.
11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
I don't know? I don't really talk to people much on this site anymore except for a few that I already HAVE met in person, lol. :useryoshilee: is one of the few people I talk to often and haven't actually met in person yet, so she's one of the few.
12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
:usersilverphantom: and her friend group has been a huge, wonderful impact on my life, giving me friendship and joy that makes me smile just at the memories we've shared together. :userWingsofParadox: is also an another amazing person and meeting her was wonderful.
13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
Preferably paper? A pencil, an eraser, a pen. Maybe color it with Prismacolor markers after. I haven't drawn in eons just because I've been busy+focused on school+lacking inspiration.
14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
No where. It's stupid to think a certain place can 'inspire' you to create art. I've been driving in a car going 80 out in the middle of Nevada and wanted to draw, I've also been sitting in class wanting to draw. There's no place for me, it's the actual energy and inspiration itself that gets me to draw.
15. What is your favorite DeviantArt memory?
When DA still had Fella plushie and clothes to buy? When it wasn't just a massive corporate machine, uping membership prices without giving members anything new in return? I don't like the feel of DeviantArt anymore, it bothers me and I really just come on here to check new deviations and rp for hours with my friends over notes (which don't need fixed, so please stop trying to fix shit that isn't broken). It feels like DA is more money hungry and trying to make things 'shiny' than actually giving a shit about their users anymore. It feels like artists are just constantly competing and belittling others now and it's not a good combination with the 'money hungry' thing.
