Transformers - SamxBee

Blue optics lit up in the dark room as Bumblebee booted up. He gave a stretch, sitting up off his recharge berth and swinging his legs over the side, the wires that had been attached to him retreating.
He gave his quarter’s one a quick glance before he walked towards the door, again stretching as his door hissed open to allow him into the hallway. It was still early in the morning, but Bee was excited.
Today was going to be good day.
Bumblebee smiled a little to himself, realizing he was one of the first Autobots awake at the time (he was almost positive that Prowl was already starting his daily duties). Bee already had several things planned for his day off, and a majority of them included Sam.
The yellow bot’s smile strengthened as he thought of the teen. He had been a great help since the beginning, and Bumblebee felt a tingle of pride every time he remembered he was Sam’s guardian.
None of the others were assigned such a duty, and it made Bee feel privileged. He had learned much from Sam about Earth’s culture – from jokes to more serious matters.
In return, Bee had taught Sam about Cybertronian culture.
His thoughts were interrupted as he walked into the lounge, planning on grabbing some energon  when he heard a strange sound coming from the other side of the room.
He tensed, quickly turning, his optics narrowing as he tried to pinpoint the sound. There was the couch that Sam and Mikaela had brought in…and the small TV was sitting not to far in front of it, its screen blank.
The sound came again, and Bumblebee slowly walked forward, realizing it was coming from the couch.
Had the Decepticons snuck in? Was it one of Soundwave’s cassettes?
His arm transformed into his energy cannon instinctively, and he quickly aimed it down as he peered over the couch.
With a silenced gasp, he quickly changed his arm back to normal, staring in confusion.
Sam was sleeping on the couch, a thin blanket draped over him.
He was still in his clothes, lying on his back with his head rested on the arm of the couch. A soft smile came to Bumblebee’s faceplate as he looked at the boy. He seemed so peaceful in his sleep.
Several questions surfaced in Bee’s central processor, but he pushed them away. He didn’t know how Sam had gotten in without them knowing, but he was fine with the human spending the night on the Ark. It saved him the time of driving into town to pick him up.
Bumblebee silently came and sat down beside the couch, his gaze turning back to Sam. He was breathing slowly, his chest rising up and down with his hand resting on his stomach.
He paused, a little hesitant, then carefully reached a hand out towards the boy. His fingers gently brushed through Sam’s already messy hair, then a single finger slid down Sam’s face.
Sam moved, and Bumblebee quickly retracted his arm as the young human stirred. He blinked quite a few times, obviously disorientated as he glanced around. He yawned, arching his back as he stretched, then laid his head back.
He gave a smile as he saw Bumblebee,
“Morning.”
Sam greeted. Bumblebee returned the smile,
“Morning Sam.”
Sam sat up, bringing a hand through his hair as another yawn escaped him. Bumblebee watched him for a moment, but his questions were starting to overflow, and he wanted to desperately ask them.
“Sam, what are you doing here? Its not that I’m not happy to see you, but why are you sleeping on the couch?”
Bumblebee blurted out. Sam stood, turning to the yellow bot with a faint smile.
“Well…I just wanted to be here and talk to you. I had hoped to run into you last night, but I didn’t, so I just came in here and crashed.”
Bee let this process for a click,
“Wait, you walked all the way here just to talk to me?”
He asked. Sam paused, the nodded,
“Yeah…guess that’s a stupid reason.”
Bumblebee felt a smile coming,
“No, it isn’t stupid at all Sam. I was just surprised to walk in and find you here.”
Bumblebee realized he was still sitting and stood up, causing Sam to step back.
The yellow bot looked at the boy,
“Well, hopefully you had a good sleep. I guess you being here saves me the time of going to get you…but wont your parents be worried?”
Sam shrugged, shaking his head,
“Nah, they think I stayed the night at Mile’s place. So, where are we heading first Bee?”
He asked, changing the topic.

The sky was still dark, with only the slightest hint that the sun would soon be rising. Sam sat in the driver’s seat, leaning back as Bumblebee drove. To Bumblebee’s surprise, Sam was unusually quiet. He kept his gaze out the window almost the entire drive. Bee could sense how tense he was – like something was on his mind.
The yellow camaro turned onto a dirt road, heading towards the lake, and Sam finally looked up.
“The lake huh? Bee, I didn’t bring any trunks.”
Sam said.
“Who said we were swimming? Its still early, and that water would be cold…Besides, I just came up here because its so peaceful – and because I can transform here without being seen.”
Bumblebee came to a stop, and Sam got out. The door didn’t even shut as a shudder went through him, and Bumblebee stood up. Sam was gazing up at the stars that dotted the night sky, then turned to Bee.
“So if we’re not going to swim, what are we going to do?”
He asked, putting his hands into the pocket of his hoodie.
Bumblebee walked a few feet, then turned and sat down carefully. He turned his gaze to Sam,
“Well, if I recall correctly Sam, you said you came to talk to me. I’m sorry, but that doesn’t sound like a good enough reason to walk that far in the middle of the night.”
Sam walked over to him, sitting next to the Autobot. He looked extremely small beside Bumblebee, especially when his pulled his legs up abit.
“Well…Mikaela and I…we’ve been having some trouble of late.”
Bumblebee raised an optic ridge,
“Trouble?”
he echoed. Sam nodded,
“Yeah. Her dads been acting weird and she hasn’t been able to do anything after school. Our classes got switched up again, so I rarely see her at school, and now because of her dad, I cant see her after school either. She said that if we don’t get to see each other, than what’s the point in going out…and I can see her point. I…I don’t know what to do. I tried going to her house, but she wasn’t there. Every time I try calling her cell phone, she never answers, and she never calls me back. She wont even reply to my text messages, or any of the e-mails I send her, and I’m worried…”
Sam had blurted all of this rather quickly, and was now out of breath. Bumblebee was quiet, feeling bad for his friend. He didn’t understand the matter fully, but he understood enough to know Sam was confused – and he wanted help.
“Sam…when was the last time you saw Mikaela?”
Bee asked.
Sam blinked, as though he had forgotten Bumblebee was sitting beside him. He flushed slightly, embarrassed at his outburst.
“Well…about six days ago. That’s when she said there was no point in us going out if we couldn’t even see each other.”
“She has a point. Logically, where would the connection be?”
Bee wished he hadn’t said anything, for Sam saddened, lowering his head.
“Sam, please don’t be sad…”
Bumblebee pleaded. He didn’t say anything else about Mikaela because he knew it would just come out wrong and probably hurt Sam even more. Sam slowly looked up at Bumblebee, and the bot was surprised to see a faint smile on his lips.
“Bumblebee, thanks.”
Bumblebee’s optics flashed, resembling a blink, but before he could say anything, Sam continued.
“Sorry that I kind of rambled like that, dude. I just had all of that on my chest. Its been bugging me, and I really wanted to talk to you about it. I walked all the way to the Ark mainly because I needed to see you…”
Sam paused, then looked away,
“Man, I sound like such a dork. I should seriously just go home and lay in bed all day…”
He mumbled.
Bumblebee smiled sympathetically, then looked up as a single ray of sunlight broke the horizon. Sam looked up as well, and felt a faint pressure against his side as Bee held his hand out to him. Sam glanced at Bee’s outstretched hand before climbing into it.
As carefully as possible, Bee lifted his hand up as the night ended and morning began.
Bumblebee couldn’t help but feel in awe as colors lit up the horizon sky, with hues and shades of pink, orange, and purple painting themselves across the blue. The sunrises on Cybertron had never been this amazing…and Bee felt a strange happiness within him as he sat there with Sam in his hands.
“Sam, your not a ‘dork’ as you put it.”
Bumblebee said after a minute or so of silence.
Sam looked up at him,
“I’m not? Well, if I’m not a dork, what am I? A nerd? Or maybe even a weirdo…that would probably fit.”
Bee chuckled softly, shaking his head.
“No Sam. If I were to define you…I believe you would be Sam. And that alone is good enough for me.”
A faint blush came across Sam’s face, though it was barely noticeable in the orange glow from the rising sun.
“Heh, thanks Bee. That…that means a lot to me pal.”
He said gratefully.
Yes, another BeexSam fanfic. Like I've said before, I support the friendship abit more than the pairing.

Just Sam and Bumblebee spending some time together and talking, not much else. If you came to read a full out yaoi, then sorry, but you'll be dissapointed.

I like Bee/Sam but friendship/brotherhood is good to. The reader's interpretation can go with any of these.
