Ma Belle Evangeline

~MISSluna-kitsune's Christmas gift, hahah. ^^ She's a friend in rl and I felt bad that I couldn't really figure out WHAT to give her, so she said she wanted to see me draw Evangeline from Princess and the Frog into an actual firefly.

I took that quite a bit further and put her dancing with Ray, haha. THEN I wanted to try and draw a decent background for once and it...went from there, haha. I know the shading is weird, its supposed to be since I did ALOT of experimenting with this pic and my markers.

I...think it turned out decently. I'm not sure if I did Evangeline justice, but I couldn't find ANY pics of the other fireflies in the movie to kinda help...so I basically just went off of Ray's look and hoped for the best. <3
